A survey of how physical and biological factors determine the abundance and distribution of plants and animals. Concepts at the physiological, population, community, and ecosystems level will be discussed. Field and laboratory exercises will investigate questions concerning habitat, populations, and communities. Weekend field trips may be taken. PREREQ: BIOL 191-192 and MATH 254.
