Designed to prepare art and art education majors in the theoretical, historical and practical applications of multicultural art education and education for social justice and equity. Includes an introduction to cultural diversity through appropriate fieldwork experiences and study of multicultural contemporary and folk traditional artists and art works. PREREQ: ART 107, ART 108, ART 109, ART 212, ART 209, ART 215, ART 225 or ART 226, ART 231, ARTHIST 101, ARTHIST 102, ED-CIFS 201, ED-TECH 202, or PERM/INST.
