Content is designed to expand the knowledge base and skills necessary for the practitioner to communicate effectively. Existing communication skills will be enhanced to include professional presentations, business communications, and research publication and evaluation. The practitioner's role and responsibility with regard to written and oral communication will focus on patient education, advocacy and confidentiality. A heightened awareness of human diversity will be emphasized. PR: Completion of AS in Radiologic Technology or related radiologic sciences, proof of certification in Radiography or other modality through ARRT, or permission of the instructor.
