Explores numerous modalities in the radiologic and imaging sciences for future educational endeavors/advances. This course introduces a model fro critical thinking to aid in patient assessment. Includes the application of normal anatomy and physiological phenomena to ill and injured individuals. Interviewing skills and assessment techniques with a clinical focus are stressed. Emphasizes the analysis and interpretation of physiological data to assist in patient assessment and management.. PR: Completion of AS in Radiologic Technology or related radiologic sciences, proof of certification in Radiography or other modality through ARRT, or permission of the instructor.
