Uses the nursing process to examine the nursing care of adult clients experiencing a variety of health imbalances. Pathophysiologic concepts will be discussed to assist the student in selection of nursing diagnoses and implementation of interventions. Imbalances of gastrointestinal, hematologic, immunologic, and endocrine systems will be discussed. PR: All 100 level nursing courses and third semester nursing courses, CO: Fourth semester nursing courses.
