A practicum course which integrates concepts from nursing concepts, and concepts lab. Students apply the nursing process to care for clients experiencing well-defined health problems in the gerontological setting. Health promotion in the elderly will also be emphasized. CO: First semester nursing courses, MATH 101 or higher, BIOL 201, 203, PSYC 103.
