Microprocessors are studied as elements in bus organized computers. Applications for controlling outside devices are studied. Flow charts are used to demonstrate how control decisions can be based on programmed, priority, or interrupt demands. Support devices are studied of which a few are: read only memories (ROM), random access memories (RAM), arithmetic logic units (ALU), accumulators, and Input/Output (I/O) devices. PR: ELET 218.
