This course examines the genetic, neuroanatomical, neurochemical and hormonal basis of anxiety disorders, mood disorders, substance-elated disorders, sexual and gender-identity disorders, personality disorders, psychotic disorders and childhood disorders. Physiological factors contributing to both the onset and maintenance of mental disorders will be covered. Prerequisite: PSY 204 and PSY 206; Offered in the spring semester of odd-numbered years
