Students will participate in the graduate course in social epidemiology and meet a reduced level of academic requirement commensurate with their undergraduate status and skills. This course presents an overview of social epidemiology or the area of study that seeks to understand factors and conditions that determine the occurrence and distribution of disease, health, defects, disability and death among groups of people. Prerequisites: Students must have completed a minimum of 21 credit-hours of required and/or elective hours in sociology and attained junior or senior status
