Computational and graphical techniques to descriptive and inferential data analysis. Primary topics include the scales of measurement, shapes and types of distributions, measures of central tendancy and variability, correlation, regression, hypothesis testing; analysis of variance, interval estimation, sampling, and probability theory. Course will also include an introduction to statistical software and multivariate methods. Prerequisite: PSYC 238.
