Global and regional impact, host-parasite relationships, morphology and physiology, diagnostic techniques used in isolation and identification, treatment, prevention, and modes of transmission are discussed. Field trips required. Must be taken concurrently with BIOL 456L. Prerequisites: BIOL 341/341L or equivalent.
