Description: Prerequisite: Chemistry 120A or its equivalent. For majors and minors in the physical and biological sciences, chemical thermodynamics, chemical equilibrium (gaseous, aqueous, acid-base, solubility and complexation), elementary electrochemistry and chemical kinetics. Laboratory: quantitative and qualitative analysis and elementary physical chemistry; some qualitative analysis. (3 hours lecture, 6 hours laboratory).
