3 hours An introduction to the basic tools of acting. The course offers a variety of means by which actors may better understand and embody the characters they play. Coursework includes character and scene analyses, improvisations, physical/vocal exercises, and several substantial performances. Students will also learn to apply basic stage makeup, age makeup, and effects makeup.
