4 hours The course will provide students with historical and contemporary content with regard to gender roles, sexual orientation, and family diversity. Major historical themes, current issues, multicultural factors, feminist theory, and the impact of these diversityissues on development and human behavior will be considered. Both Systems Theory and Strengths Perspective will be used to integrate models within a social environment. Prerequisites: S0101, PY101, or SW120, or consent of instructor.
