4 hours Study and application of models, theories, strategies, and techniques of social work practice with individuals and families. Emphasis is placed on the integration and synthesis of valuing, thinking, and behaving in the social work practice process. A process model considers practice in three phases: assessment, action/intervention, and evaluating/ concluding. Prerequisites: SW315 and SW325 or consent of instructor. Must be admitted to the social work program. Includes 3 hr. lab per week.
