3 hours A study of rhythmic activities appropriate for teaching in the elementary, middle level, and secondary curriculums. The student will study and participate in these activities. The course will progress from basic fundamental rhythmic activities to higher level rhythmic activities such as rope jumping, tinikling, lummi sticks, parachute play, and creative rhythms. Other activities covered will be square dances, mixers, and group dances.
