3 hours Development of the ability to conduct social problem and policy analysis using a selected analytical framework. A range of social welfare policy and programs will be considered. Problem and policy assessment will be informed by the use of empirical studies, government documents, census data, and interviews. A selected policy area will serve as an exemplar. Prerequisites: SW120, EC111, and PS101, or consent of instructor.
