3 hours This course emphasizes personal expression of clay forms. Students are free to choose the processes, clays and firing methods best suited to their aesthetic needs. Experimentation with forming processes, clay body control, glaze design and kiln firing variations is an integral part of the course. Students are instructed in the safe use of materials and processes. Prerequisite: AR230 or by consent of the instructor.
