Offered either as 8-unit quarterlong course or as 4-unit five-week intensive course given off campus as part of Marine Biology Quarter. Survey of current topics in marine ecology, including analysis of primary research literature combined with field study of ecology of marine organisms, populations, communities, and ecosystems. Original research project required. Letter grading.
