Study of major texts in world literature, with emphasis on Western civilization. Texts include major works and authors such as Iliad or Odyssey, Greek tragedies, portions of Bible, Virgil, Petronius, St. Augustine, and others such as Gilgamesh or Tristan and Iseult. P/NP or letter grading.
