Design considerations used for reinforced concrete beams, columns, slabs, and joints evaluated using analysis and experiments. Links between theory, building codes, and experimental results. Students demonstrate accuracies and limitations of calculation procedures used in design of reinforced concrete structures. Development of skills for written and oral presentations. Letter grading.
