Throughout its rich history, spanning more than 100 years, Mexican cinema has produced great variety of films that deal with Chicana/ Chicano experience. Like its U.S. counterpart, Mexican cinematic discourse portrayal of Chicanas/Chicanos has been plagued by use of stereotypes that limit visual representation of Chicanas/Chicanos. Exploration of causes and effects for such obtuse cinematic representation. P/NP or letter grading.
