Reaction mechanisms in molecular biology; experimental approaches for study of enzymes, including kinetics, isotopic labeling, stereochemistry, chemical modification, and spectroscopy; design of pharmacologically active agents and artificial enzymes. Drug metabolism and interactions addressed on mechanistic level. Concurrently scheduled with course CM255. Letter grading.
