Designed for students who are Cantonese speakers and familiar with Chinese characters and who need to improve their pronunciation of standard Mandarin dialect. P/NP or letter grading. 6. Intermediate Modern Chinese. (5) Lecture, five hours. Enforced requisite: course 5 or Chinese placement test.
