Studio, four hours; outside study, two hours. Limited to currently enrolled college/university students and graduates of colleges/universities. Introduction to techniques of spatial representation as they relate to architectural design. How to communicate using twoand three-dimensional drawing and modeling. Analog and digital techniques and opportunity afforded by moving between both. Analog techniques include orthographic and axonometric projection. Digital techniques focus on computer graphics fundamentals, including bit map and vector graphic imaging using Adobe suite and modeling using Rhinoceros. Offered in summer only. Letter grading.
