In addition to covering the New York State Health Education Leaning Standards this workshop provides information for the purpose of preventing child abduction as well as preventing alcohol, tobacco and other drug use. Moreover, safety education as well as fire and arson prevention are presented. The content of this workshop satisfies Education Law sections 803-a, 804, 806, ad 808 as required for certification in New York State.
