Prerequisite: MATH 131 with a grade of C or better, or MATH141 or equivalent. Credit will be granted for only one of the following: MATH240, MATH341, MATH400, or MATH461. Basic concepts of linear algebra: vector spaces, applications to line and plane geometry, linear equations and matrices, similar matrices, linear transformations, eigenvalues, determinants and quadratic forms.
