Prerequisites: MATH140 or MATH220; PHYS121 and (one of the following:BSCI205, GEOG140, GEOL120, GEOL123/AOSC123/METO123/GEOG123). Corequisite: ARCH400. For ARCH majors only. First course in a four course sequence which develops the knowledge and skills of architectural technology. Addresses climate, human responses to climate, available materials, topography and impact on culture. Principles of assembly, basic structural principles and philosophies of construction.
