This is a WECM Course Number. Prerequisite: Credit or concurrent enrollment in ENGL 1301, or demonstrated competence approved by the instructor. Survey of the evolution of graphic arts as it relates to the history of art. Topics include formal, stylistic, social, political, economic, and historical aspects. Emphasis on the art movement, schools of thought, individuals, and technology as they interrelate with graphic arts. (3 Lec.)
