This is a WECM Course Number. Prerequisite: Acceptance into the Veterinary Technology degree program. Practical experience in management of the veterinary hospital. Emphasis on client relations, record keeping, inventory, employment skills, and computer skills in the veterinary environment. The student will demonstrate effective client relation, communication, and computer skills; apply basic business principles such as the proper maintenance of medical records; and display employment skills including interviewing, resume writing, and proper dress.
