This is a WECM Course Number. An introduction to major theories of various treatment modalities including Reality Therapy, Psycho-dynamic, grief therapy, Client-centered therapy, Rational-Emotive Therapy, Cognitive-behavioral approaches such as life skills training, behavior modification, and the introduction to experimental therapies as they relate to detoxification, residential, outpatient, and extended treatment. Ethical issues will be reviewed. (3 Lec.)
