This is a WECM Course Number. Prerequisite: (1) Current BCLS (CPR) certification at the Health Care Provider level by the American Heart Association or equivalent, (2) Demonstrated competency in math, reading, and writing. Introduction to the level of Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) - Basic. Includes all the skills necessary to provide emergency medical care at a basic life support level with ambulance services or other specialized services. (2 Lec., 9 Lab.) Search for EMSP 1501 classes
