This is a WECM Course Number. Prerequisite: (1) Completion of Department of State Health Services approved Basic Emergency Medical Technician Course, or certification by Department of State Health Services as Emergency Medical Technician, (2) current CPR certification as health care provider, (3) demonstrated competency in reading and math, and (4) Anatomy and Physiology course for Paramedics or equivalency. A health-related work-based learning experience that enables the student to apply specialized occupational theory, skills, and concepts. Direct supervision is provided by the clinical professional.
