Prerequisite: (1) Current BCLS (CPR) certification at the Health Care Provider level by the American Heart Association or equivalent, (2) Current certification by the Texas Department of State Health Services as an Emergency Medical Technician-Basic or higher, (3) Successful completion of EMSP 1356. A detailed study of the knowledge and skills necessary to reach competence in the assessment and management of patients with traumatic injuries. (2 Lec., 2 Lab.) Search for EMSP 1355 classes
