This is a Local Need Course. Prerequisite: Acceptance into the Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Program or other Diagnostic Imaging Program. This course introduces the basic principles of Magnetic Resonance (MR) safety and the basic concepts of patient management. Educating patients and ancillary staff on magnet safety also is presented.
