Prerequisite: HITT 1401 Health Care Date Content and Structure, HITT 1345 Health Care Delivery Systems, HITT 1160 Introductory Clinical, ENGL 1301 Composition I and MATH 1314 College Algebra. Study of the many facets of quality standards and methodologies in the health information management environment. Topics include licensing, accreditation, compilation and presentation of data in statistical formats, quality improvement functions, quality tools, utilization management, risk management and medical staff quality issues.
