This is a WECM Course Number. Prerequisite: Admission to the Invasive Cardiovascular Technology program with Health Occupations Core Curriculum or prior degree in Health Sciences. Introduction to the diagnostic procedures used in the cath lab. Prior didactic instruction in cardiac physiology and medical instrumentation applied to cath lab procedures including patient preparation and monitoring, angiographic equipment set-up, and the coronary angiography procedure itself. (2 Lec., 2 Lab.)
