This is a WECM Course Number. Prerequisite: Child Development 2326. Developmental Reading 0093 or English as a Second Language (ESOL) 0044 or have met the Texas Success Initiative (TSI) standard in Reading. Corequisite/Concurrent: Students will be required to submit to and pass a criminal background search by the certification date as prescribed by the program and college. Failure to comply will result in the student being dropped from the course. An in-depth study of the skills and techniques in managing early care and education programs, including legal and ethical issues, personnel management, team building, leadership, conflict resolution, stress management, advocacy, professionalism, fiscal analysis and planning, parent education/partnerships, and technical applications in programs. (3 Lec.) Search for CDEC 2328 classes
