This course is for science and science-related majors. It is a continuation of Chemistry 1411. Topics include states of matter, phase diagrams and intermolecular interactions; reaction kinetics, chemical equilibrium, modern acid-base theory, buffers, chemical thermodynamics, colligative properties of solutions, electrochemistry and nuclear chemistry.
