CORE Distributive Studies Physical Sciences Laboratory Course only when taken concurrently with PHYS 275. Prerequisites: (PHYS171 or PHYS161) and MATH141. Corequisite: MATH241. Credit will be granted for only one of the following: PHYS272 or PHYS260 and PHYS261 (Formerly: PHYS262) or PHYS142. Second semester of a calculus based general physics course. Universal gravitation, electric and magnetic fields and potentials, simple circuits, Maxwell's equations in integral form. Continues the application of mathematics to conceptual models, now with more abstract components.
