Description:

Open to students with no previous training in French. Each provides for acquisition of the communication skills in French, with special emphasis on aural comprehension and speaking. Students are also given the opportunity to achieve basic competency in reading and writing. Both courses are offered in the Fall and in the Spring. Prerequisite for ML1000: No prior French, or not more than one year of high school French. Prerequisite for ML1010: ML1000 or permission of ML faculty.
