Emphasizes the necessity of managing individuals in an organization as resources crucial to survival and success. The relationship of human resource management to strategic planning and implementation is analyzed. Specific attention is given to the theories, policies, techniques and methods related to human resource planning, recruitment, selection, interviewing, training and development, performance, appraisal, separation, labor relations and compensation in compliance with relevant legislation. Offered every semester. Prerequisite: BU4101 or BU4110.
