Explores the creative acting process by investigating the emotional, intellectual and kinesthetic resources central to performing. Examines the application of vocal and physical choices to develop characters. Analysis of texts, theory and the conventions of psychological realism are highlighted through focused improvisation, movement exercises and monologue/scene study. May not receive credit for both THEA 224 and 150. Three hours per week with enhancement. Meets General Education IIIA or IIIC (Prior to Fall 2008: IB).
