Description:
This course will develop formal skills in critical inquiry and decision making. Students will use literature and technology resources to establish interventions based in scientific evidence and best professional practice. Students will conduct literature searches and collect data to answer assessment, descriptive and intervention effectiveness questions. Assisted by faculty, students will formulate a research question, evaluate research articles, and establish an annotated bibliography for the final capstone project. Two hours of lecture and one hour of lab per week. Limited to OCT majors. Prerequisites: OCT400 or OCT400N, OCT401, OCT402, OCT403. Co-requisites: OCT404, OCT406.
