The concept of public health nursing will be explored through the study of human-environment field interactions regarding aggregate populations found in diverse public health settings. The nurse will focus on health promotion and examine the ethical, legal, political and economic issues surrounding health care. Leadership and management strategies will be used in the continued development of the nurse as manager. Three lecture hours per week. Restricted Admission. Required of students in the RN to BSN Program. Offered only through the Evening Division. Prerequisites: NUR360A, NUR361A, NUR440A & NUR441. Co-requisites: NUR409 & NUR447.
