This course is designed to help the health care professional assist clients who have an altered sexual life style due to sexually transmitted diseases, AIDS, accident injury, or chronic disease. The course will consist of group discussion related to student's own values and views regarding sexuality. The nursing process will be the basis for assessing planning, and implementing an individualized care plan for clients with sexual health needs. Three lecture hours per week. This course is a Nursing elective and cannot be substituted for required courses within the Nursing major. Offered only through the Evening Division.
