A full-time classroom experience in a local school setting providing the pre-service undergraduate with on-site supervisory support in the classroom and periodical observation and evaluation by a college supervisor at the school placement site. Weekly seminar sessions will also be held throughout this experience for additional instruction in classroom management, teaching strategies, measurement and evaluation. Minimum of 150 clock hours per semester plus weekly seminars. Required for Education majors, Early Childhood Licensure Program. All Licensure Program prerequisites must be met prior to practicum assignment. Prerequisites: EDU350, EDU360, EDU370. Permission of Department Chairperson.
