Review and practice in the teaching of Math, Science and Technology in middle school and their interrelationships. Topics include problem solving, communication, reasoning and connections, the changes in curriculum brought about by technological advances, the design and implementation of thematic units, and strategies for teaching heterogeneous groups. Three lecture hours per week. Pre-practicum field experience included. Required of Education majors in the Middle School concentration. Prerequisites: EDU110, EDU255, EDU260A.
