Through lecture and discussion the student is introduced to measurement systems utilized in pharmacology, along with calculations of dosages utilized in administering medications, reference sources and drug legislation. Emphasis will be on nursing implications concerning the administration of medications to individuals and their psychological and physiological response. Three lecture hours per week. Required of all undergraduate nursing majors. Co-requisites: NUR312A, NUR313A.
