This course provides students with an opportunity to learn about Database Management Systems (DBMS) with an emphasis on relational databases. Students will learn the database development process, including analysis, design and implementation. Two threads will weave together in the course: one theoretical and general, another practical and specific. Three lecture hours per week. Required in the Business Administration Management Information Systems concentration, elective in the Business Administration Operations and Decision Sciences concentration, and open to other by permission of the Department Chairperson. Prerequisite: MIS301.
